The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.
SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed about the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to website some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack website of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The company stage developed for intervention activities a significant inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to permit the servicing of all consumers and improve access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
